My husband and I are expecting our baby May 18th. We thought we were on schedule ordering our furniture from Bellini on January 16th. We ordered a dresser, crib and changing top for the dresser. We loved the furniture and it is nice quality, but very expensive. Our total was over $2300. For this price I expected a good experience. We were told because we ordered a new style crib that our dresser would be in before the crib, that was to arrive in March. March came and went and we heard nothing, when I called the store they were rude and told me they would call when it arrived. We received a call in the middle of April saying our dresser was in and we could pick it up, when we got there the dresser was damaged. It was cracked and chipped, we did not take it. They said the new one would arrive with the crib on April 28th. I was getting very anxious considering the baby would be arriving soon. April 28th came, still no furniture. On the 29th they called an said it was in, but they would not deliver until May 3rd. They called on a sunday and told us we had to pay by certified check or cash, but we wanted to use credit card. They made us go to the store and pay for the furniture before it was delivered. We did not want to because the other dresser came damaged, but we were not give a choice. They said they would call us that morning to tell us when it was coming, short notice, but they did say between 4pm-6pm. They finally arrive at 8pm, and did not have the sides of the crib, and could not put it together. The driver said he would bring it back in 4 days and assemble it. When we called the store, they did not know of this problem, did not know where the parts were and now wanted to charge us for delivery, we already paid for all the furniture and still dont have a working crib. We are still waiting to hear about the sides and our baby is due in less then 2 weeks. This is the worst experience I have ever had.
