Their daily digest form their Yahoo Group alone is worth the price. Lots of great advice and tips. I already have some free first year parenting books from one of the moms. Best thing I've doen for myself post partum.

I love the playgroup I was able to join through my GGMG membership. (Its probably the best thing about joining) Its a more intimate way to get to know and speak with moms since Golden Gate Mothers Group is well over 3,000 members. The monthly meetings, newsletters, and special events are wonderful although the daily email postings can be a bit overwhelming.

I was looking for groups where I could meet other moms. I like the moms that I have been paired with in my playgroup. I think the playgroups are the best part of the GGMG, the events seem to always be full before I find info on them. The overall membership fee seems kinda high for the amount of service that you receive, but I will probably renew again next year, just to have GGMG as a resource to turn to. I find that I am one of the younger moms, even though I am 30. It would be nice to have more younger moms join. Also, more ethnic diversity would be nice, mostly caucasion moms.
